Give Back & Pay It Forward
at Wildflower Home

The Wildflower Home, located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a place of refuge for young, single women who are either pregnant or have very young children, and are escaping crisis situations such as pregnancy out of wedlock, domestic abuse, and severe poverty. Wildflower home provides safety, shelter, education, and health care to these women and their children, with the aim of helping these women achieve self-sufficiency.

Where & When

Wildflower Home is located at the pin shown on the map to the right (at the address above the map), about 30 minutes East of Chiang Mai’s Old City.

On Friday, January 19th, transportation to Wildflower Home will leave from the Old City between 8:00 and 8:30 am and return at around 3 or 4pm. If you have a motorbike, you are welcome to drive yourself.

What To expect

Volunteers can expect to do a variety of farming and/or development tasks, like constructing a new planting nursery, and tilling and planting new farm beds. All of these are tasks that will have a lasting impact on the foundation and contribute to its goal of sustainability and self-sufficiency.

What To Bring

Please wear comfortable and modest clothes (no spaghetti straps, please) that you don’t mind getting dirty (you’ll definitely get dirty!). Lunch will be provided. Please bring your own refillable water bottle to reduce plastic consumption. Filtered water is available at Wildflower Home.

What You Get

Other than the knowledge that you’ve helped give the gift of self-sufficiency to one of the most vulnerable populations in Thailand, Wildflower Home volunteers will receive free admission to both the “Healing House Takeover In The City” and the “Dopest Party In The Kingdom” events.
